Christy Mitropoulos

Teacher: Prayer
Christy Mitropoulos has been in full-time ministry for over 27 years, having traveled with her late husband, Rev. Angelo Mitropoulos, as they ministered in churches, conventions and Bible schools all over the world. Christy is a member of Healing Grace Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she is serving as Associate Pastor and ministers every Wednesday evening “The Window of Grace Bible Study” bringing believers to a better understanding of the Gospel that Paul preached, and showing them how better to relate to God and others as they see themselves in Christ Jesus. Having struggled for years to try to ‘gain God’s approval’ through the things that she did for God, and feeling disqualified from God’s blessings because of her own weaknesses and inability to live a perfect life, she began to see that God’s love and acceptance of her was not based upon her good works, but on the obedience of Christ and His offering for sin once and for all upon the cross.
Christy’s teaching on new covenant realities is simple and concise, yet so powerful that it is able to penetrate the hearts of men and women to the degree that they are able to walk away from the illusion that they could ever ‘become righteous enough’ in their own abilities. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, believers are embracing the good news that the blood of Jesus Christ sanctifies – once and for all – those who come to Him in faith and believe.
