Celebration Bible College

“… the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs…” (Mark 16:20)

Graduates of CBC have the opportunity to be sent to another nation as a member of a Celebrate Jesus International missionary team. Empowered by the love of God and His grace that works in them, these missionaries put their CBC training into practice in the foreign land. In September of each year, since 2002, missionary teams have been commissioned and sent to nations including Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, India, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

Together with local churches in their assigned nations, these Celebrate Jesus International teams continue to expand this gospel revolution into parts of the world that were previously unreached. Everywhere they go, the Lord Jesus works with them and confirms His gospel with signs, wonders and miracles.

The Missions Statement of CJI™

To facilitate a Gospel movement of people and churches wholeheartedly committed to advancing God's purposes, locally and globally.

2000 years ago Jesus laid claim to "all nations" and "every creature." To date, much of the world remains in spiritual darkness. Millions are born, live and die without the gospel.

Celebrate Jesus International is a response to the great spiritual void that exists in every part of the world. It is a call to make disciples of all people: Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Christians and Animists - and not stop - until the gospel covers all the earth.

God's solution to the world's spiritual darkness is equipped, dedicated workers that will win, train and send people.

Here is a brief overview of the CJI™ teams of Gospel workers...

“For the last two months, I have been traveling around the island of Sumatra, Indonesia with the message that Jesus saves and heals today! I visited nineteen cities, towns and villages conducting Gospel Festivals in fi elds, churches and even an old movie theater, traveling on buses, trains, planes, motorbikes, ships, speedboats and even an ambulance. It has been a great adventure with Jesus! While in Padang Sidempuan, a city with 95% Muslim population, I had already preached three times that day, when during the evening service an older man came up to the platform in tears. He said his eight-year old daughter had gone deaf on both ears when she was about one. But Jesus opened her ears that night!!”

“At a recent outreach I felt God wanted me to pray for the deaf. However, when I asked who needed healing in their ears I got a poor response. Despite the lack of reception I decided to obey the Lord and pray, not fully understanding why the Lord had directed me this way. Amazingly, at the conclusion of the service a man came up to the front and testifi ed that he had problems in his ear since he was in 5th grade. Doctors had given up on him long ago. When he got saved 3 years previously he had asked the Lord to send someone to pray for his ear. When I prayed specifi cally for ears to be healed He knew that God had answered his prayer. It is just truly amazing to me how God works!”

“Abel had been coming to our meetings on a regular basis, and often he disrupted the service. He seemed like an impossible case. One day we ran into him on the street. He looked like a different person. He began telling us that he had been backslidden for 27 years. He had previously been very active in the church, but he had lost everything, his wife, his children, and family. One night he came to our meetings and we prayed for him. He said, ‘When you placed your hand on my head I felt as if a ‘liquid fi re’ went through my head right down to the souls of my feet. From that moment on I knew that God was calling me, and I have not had a drink since. I have not even had a desire for another drink’!”

EMMANUEL SWARAY
- Gambia

“We were recently contacted about a situation in the Janjanburch region, which had come to the nation’s attention. The girls in the territory were falling down in mass convulsions. The medical people couldn’t help. The native doctor\ witch doctors couldn’t help either. Their proposed solution only made matters worse. To the glory of God we ministered to the elders of the town and to the girls who had suffered from the attacks. The breakthrough was remarkable. Since that time, no more convulsions have been reported.”
